This is my first of a couple of posts about laser cut Christmas designs. I came up with this idea on the phone to a friend Mike.
The idea I had was to have a computer generate a pair of snowflake patterns that can be slotted together to produce a 3D snowflake.
The snowflake has a slot to allow the two panels to slot together, and has an extra space to hold a small white 5mm flat top LED right at the heart, along with a CR2032 battery to power the LED like a throwie.
I am really chuffed with the end result and have people asking to buy them from me! I must remember to take one to the woman at the Albert Arms in Elephant and Castle as she rescued me from my own stupidity of leaving the laser cut tree behind.
