Yeah its going good thanks Shyam, hope you get a good project out of your junk, let me know if I can help, plus would be nice to sit down and talk about our ideas at some point, you should come over to ours and get out of the cold and we can have some fun, just Me, You, Mike and Claire, would be nice!

Another random question for the Mac Genius, I have got my shiny new MBP however there seems to be some oddness in it, firstly the battery life seems odd taking about 6hours to charge and only lasting for about 3hrs with only light non-flash browsing.
Also the aspect that I am most concerned about is that the only application with network access appears to be Safari. Every other application is not even attempting to make a connection (have the Little Snitch network monitor showing but not blocking connections), this is everything from CS3 through to firefox & adium. But so far 1 in four restarts see this issue being resolved, but once resolved if the computer sleeps it rears it’s ugly head again.
Any suggestions wise leader?
I may be good with Mac but I am no genius. Yet. The best thing to do is to get a genius bar appointment. I can’t say for sure but could be an issue with the hardware which causes the battery issue. The network problem is very likly little snitch so quit all apps turn off snitch and try using a few apps.
Isnt this friday St Patricks day? we should go to spoons or somewhere; Ill come Alex, SeB anyone else I can get would be cool
